Welcome!

The cheer team at the University of Chicago attends all home football games during the fall, and all home men's and women's basketball games in the winter.  We cheer, stunt and dance!  All skill levels are welcome on the team, if you are interested in joining contact Brittany Gordon at brittanyg@uchicago.edu or Denise Salinas at dsalinas@uchicago.edu for more information.

Recent News

April 29th 2009: We just started practicing for the 2009-1010 season!  If you are interested in attending a practice they are in Kovler gymnastics room in the lab schools Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-10.  Contact brittanyg@uchicago.edu or dsalinas@uchicago.edu for more info!

Feb 6th 2009: We will be cheering at the Men's and Women's basketball games tonight against Brandeis, come out and help us cheer on your teams! Women's game starts at 6 and Men's starts at 8 in the main gym at Ratner!

Nov 10th 2008: The Maroon football team won their last home game against Washington University 17-14!  Basketball season is now underway with the Midway classic on November 15th and 16th.  Come out and support the Women's team at 4pm and the Men's team at 6pm this Saturday at Ratner!

Oct. 20th 2008: The University of Chicago Maroons won the past two home games, 33-7 against Oberlin at the homecoming game on October 11th, and 24-6 against Macalester on October 18th.  The next home game is going to be November 8th against Washington University, so come help us support the maroons!
